Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy American actor. Noted for critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive people. Adams was born and was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest of seven children. Her father served in U.S. service in Italy. The mid-1990s saw her begin acting and dancing professionally at Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. In Minnesota she performed at a regional theater, where her role was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a comedy documentary that focused on beauty magazines. In Los Angeles, she pursued acting after her film debut, in where she played a dizzy but friendly contestant. Her husband was the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 until September 1962, and was her mother to Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered via the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a deal with MGM to begin her film career actor in the latter half of the 40s. The decade following she was in a variety of well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
