Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedian originally born in Vermont. Her stand-up comedy has been described as surprisingly funny and also not preached by males from all over America. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she refused to master English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands had to enroll her. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's productions. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her goals were realized when she was offered a modeling job from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
