Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. Her style is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. After gaining some fame on the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. The channel remained member of the channel through January of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts, one that covers the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She began reviewing films late in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer community. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
