I found music a very feminine space, so embracing this level of femininity was an exciting challenge for me. It's been a struggle for me to accept, "Okay, I can be soft and feminine and robust and look after me and not shrink my self-esteem." I've really enjoyed it quite a bit, I've loved dressing in heels and dresses everyday and sporting these gorgeous curls, and the softest fabrics. There was pressure as I'm younger than the rest of the actors involved in Fantastic Beasts. But I had this strange feeling that during the auditions there was an enormous presence behind me. may either fall under it, and fall apart due to how badly I wished for it and how massive this was as well as climb up on the top and let it propel my upwards. The idea of spending a day in museums, coffeeshops, parks, or even taking a walk and observing the people is something I love. In LA it is possible to feel at a distance, while in London it is possible to ride the Tube and be within the midst of people and everyone which you can think of is moving through. I love watching people. Coming from the world of music, I'm constantly surrounded by males. It's as if having a conversation with guys can be intimate. It's a real-life dream for me. I've read all the books. I've read a few of the novels on tour I really enjoyed it to have that sort of world that you can escape into, because when you're on tour you are constantly moving from one city to the next and then it's all confusing, and going to the most vivid, vibrant universe in my bunk at night is very relaxing.
